Papanui / Main North Road
There are seven sections for construction and opening with Bus Priority measures:
- Bealey Ave – St Albans St
- St Albans St – Blighs Road
- Blighs Road – Langdons Road
- Langdons Road – QEII Drive
- QEII Drive – Styx Mill Road
- Styx Mill Road – Johns Road
- Johns Road – Christchurch Northern Motorway
The types of Bus Priority measures that will be implemented along the corridor include:
- Part-time bus lanes, including signs and road markings
- Signalised pedestrian crossings (near Holly Road and Belfast School)
- Improved cycle and pedestrian facilities
- Improved bus stop and bus shelter facilities
- Changes to parking arrangements
- Changes to pedestrian islands

The Council has awarded the construction contract to CityCare. Works are due to commence in August 2009 and be completed within 3 months.
